Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Voxmir, a Windows speech-coaching application operated by Kupia Lab ("Kupia Lab", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Voxmir, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Voxmir is a desktop application for Windows that listens to your spoken English and reflects how you sound. It shows where your accent is likely from, how your delivery feels (pace, pauses, tone, and emotion), and how your pronunciation lands, and it offers guided drills to help you improve. Voxmir is a coaching aid. It is informational only and is not a substitute for professional language instruction.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Voxmir. If you create an account or purchase a subscription, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Audio and local processing

Voxmir analyzes your microphone audio to produce its feedback. This analysis runs locally on your device. We designed Voxmir so that your raw audio stays on your computer and is not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use. You are responsible for using the app only with audio you are permitted to capture, and for obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction before recording or analyzing other people.

4. Plans, payments, and renewals

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time, and your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change, and we will give notice of any change before it applies to your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Voxmir for any unlawful purpose or to capture audio without the consent required by law;
• copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your subscription;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or models, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
• circumvent licensing, payment, or usage limits; or
• interfere with, disrupt, or probe our systems or infrastructure.

6. Intellectual property

Voxmir, including its software, models, design, and branding, is owned by Kupia Lab and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app under these Terms. You retain ownership of your own voice and any content you create.

7. Third-party services

Voxmir relies on a small number of third-party providers, including Stripe for payment processing and the platform that hosts our download and account services. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Voxmir is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Accent, delivery, and pronunciation feedback is generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should use your own judgment and not rely on Voxmir as a definitive assessment of your speech.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kupia Lab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to Voxmir is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

10. Termination

You may stop using Voxmir at any time and cancel any subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Voxmir after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
