Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kupia Lab ("Kupia Lab", "we", "us") handles information in connection with Voxmir, a Windows speech-coaching application. Voxmir is built to process your audio locally, so the audio you speak stays on your device.

1. Our approach

Voxmir is designed to be private by default. It analyzes your microphone audio on your own computer to show your accent country, your delivery, and your pronunciation. Your raw audio is not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use.

2. Information processed on your device

The following stays on your computer and is not sent to us:

  • Microphone audio. Captured only while a session is active, and analyzed locally.
  • Speech analysis. Your accent distribution, delivery metrics (pace, pauses, tone, and emotion), pronunciation scores, and drill history.
  • App settings. Your preferences and local configuration.

3. Information we receive

To run accounts and billing, a limited amount of information reaches us or our providers:

  • Account and license. If you create an account or activate Pro, we process your email address and subscription status so the app can unlock paid features.
  • Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe processes your card details and billing data under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of your subscription status, not your full card number.
  • Basic diagnostics and support. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to share. We may process limited technical information needed to deliver downloads, updates, and licensing.

4. How we use information

We use the limited information we receive to provide and secure the app, process payments and manage subscriptions, deliver updates, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your voice to train models that we share or sell.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as Stripe for payments and our hosting provider for downloads, updates, and account services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not share your information for third-party advertising.

6. Retention

On-device data remains on your computer until you delete it or uninstall Voxmir. Account and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements.

7. Your choices and rights

Because most of your data lives on your device, you remain in control of it. You can clear your local history or uninstall the app at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the account information we hold. To make a request, contact admin@kupia.io.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. Network traffic for accounts, updates, and payments is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Voxmir is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
